The role includes both outpatient and inpatient oncology care within a well-established, collaborative practice. Practice Setting & Scope Free-standing cancer center with outpatient clinic and inpatient roundingAdult and geriatric patient populationPractice mix: approximately 65% benign hematology and 35% malignant oncologyTeam includes 7 physicians and 6 advanced practice providersAverage daily volume: 25 outpatient visits and 20 inpatient/call patientsEMR: EpicClinical Responsibilities Outpatient oncology clinic and inpatient rounding as neededParticipation in tumor board meetingsManagement of bone marrow transplant patients and blood bank responsibilitiesOrdering labs, imaging, and prescribing treatmentsChemotherapy administration supported by oncology nursing staffCall Coverage No call required during the locum assignmentIf converted to permanent, call is approximately 1 week every 6 8 weeksCredentialing & Logistics Estimated credentialing timeframe: 60 daysTravel reimbursement provided for flight, lodging, rental car, and mileageSubmission Requirements Board Certified in Hematology & OncologyActive South Carolina medical license (or willingness to obtain)BLS certification and DEAClean background for emergency temporary privilegesCurrent NPDB report required for presentationby Jobble
