Staff Civil Designer

Staff Civil DesignerThis position is responsible for providing a full range of drawing production work including problem analysis, design layout and calculations on non-routine assignments of substantial variety and complexity. May coordinate drafting activities. Produce complete plans from verbal or written descriptions from responsible registered professional. Apply formulas, principles and practices. Demonstrates ability to exercise independent design decisions. Position demonstrates moderate to high level of knowledge of assigned and related disciplines. Effectively use one or more discipline related software packages required to perform assignments. Successfully correspond with clients or outside personnel. Other duties as assigned. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in drafting technology or related field. Minimum eight years of related progress detailing and design experience. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Excellent written & verbal communication skills. Previous related consulting experience preferred. Maintain CAD proficiency and master current CAD systems. (Auto Cad and Civil 3D experience required) Effectively use multiple application packages where necessary including advanced level commands.
