Our practice specializes in a range of issues including mood disorders, behavioral problems, trauma, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, eating disorders, interpersonal conflict, substance abuse, self-harm, suicidality, and emotional dysregulation.Role DescriptionThis is a part-time to full-time in-person role for a Licensed Psychotherapist for Adolescents and Adults at MiMo Psychotherapy Group located in Miami FL with flexibility for some remote work. The Licensed Psychotherapist for Adolescents and Adults will be responsible for providing mental health counseling services to adolescents and adults ages 10 and up, utilizing a range of therapeutic modalities to address issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral difficulties. The Licensed Psychotherapist for Adolescents and Adults will also be responsible for maintaining accurate and complete clinical records, collaborating with mental health professionals, and staying up to date with industry standards and ethical guidelines.QualificationsMaster's or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related fieldActive and unrestricted license to practice psychotherapy in the state of Florida.Minimum of 2 years of experience providing mental health counseling services to adolescents and adultsKnowledge and experience with Cognitive Behavior Therapy and preferably some experience with Dialectical Behavior TherapyExcellent communication skills and ability to establish rapport with clients and their familiesAbility to work independently and as a member of a collaborative teamCommitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to industry standards and ethical guidelinesAgree to do 30-hour Foundational DBT training with www.Behavioraltech.org and join our weekly DBT consultation team that meets Wednesdays from 10-12pmCollaborate with a DBT certified therapist for weekly supervision
