Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Indianapolis, IN Agency: Mindlance Health Pay: $1,910 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 12 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Mindlance Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Indianapolis, Indiana, 46260! ID: 76351021 Shift: 07:00 AM-07:30 PM Description: Adult and pediatric burn trauma surgical ICU RN. Primary RN Care model. Nursing care ratios 1:2 for critical care patients. 1:1 nursing care support for burn trauma code 1 admissions and high acuity and post-operative patients. Needs include invasive hemodynamic monitoring (At least Q 1 hr), IV drip titration, nurse driven burn fluid resuscitation following Parkland formula, ventilator management, CVVH, Q 1 h pulse and flap doppler checks, initial debridement and dressing changes, conscious sedation, surgical recovery, epidural pumps. Unit Description: Burn ICU caring for both adult and pediatric burn trauma patients with injuries including flame, scald, electrical, chemical burns, inhalation injuries, necrotic ischemia, and necrotizing fasciitis throughout continuum of care.
