The role involves functional, integration, and security testing, along with defect management and test data preparation in an Agile environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and execute test cases for functional & non-functional requirementsPerform application security testing and validate vulnerabilitiesIdentify, log, and track defects using Jira/XrayDebug issues using browser developer tools (JS/network analysis)Perform session manipulation/mocking and request/response validationConduct API testing (Postman/REST tools)Collaborate within Agile Scrum teams (onsite/offshore)Analyze test results and provide actionable feedbackManage test data and contribute to continuous QA improvementsRequired Skills5+ years in QA testing of Java/JSP-based web applications5+ years of Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, Agile Scrum5+ years of Hands-on experience in JavaScript/browser debugging (DevTools)5+ years of Experience with HTTP traffic analysis, payload modification, session/token handlingFamiliarity with Jira, Xray or similar tools5+ years of Experience in API testingUnderstanding of OWASP Top 10 / web security fundamentalsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsSecurity Testing Experience (Preferred)XSS (Stored/Reflected), CSRFSession issues (fixation, hijacking, token exposure, session mocking)Cookie security (HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite)IDOR / broken authorizationPath traversal, HTTP verb tamperingAuthentication/login flaws & sensitive data exposureSecurity headers (CSP), caching issuesVulnerable/outdated libraries (Axios, jQuery, Ext.js)API security (including Open Banking / TPP)QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT or related fieldExperience in banking/financial systems preferredExposure to security tools (Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP) is a plusExperience working with global Agile teamsAbout NTT DATANTT DATA is a $30 billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100.
