Secondary/Assembly Operator
Position Title: Secondary/Assembly Operator Pay Rate: $16.00/hour Shift Schedule:Current Hours: Monday-Friday 6AM-2:30PM.Overtime: Occasional Saturdays and could work until 4:30PMDuring high production periods, employees may work Monday - Friday, 10-hour shifts. Training:Candidates should be available to train on day shift for 2-4 weeks before transferring to nights. Position Overview The Secondary/Assembly Operator supports production by performing a variety of assembly and secondary operations. This is a small team environment where flexibility and teamwork are key. Most work involves assembly tasks, deburring parts, and operating a drilling machine as needed to meet nightly production goals. Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble parts according to work instructions to create the finished product.Coordinate and prepare all components required for assembly.Perform visual inspections and remove defective or flawed parts.Deburr parts and complete assigned secondary operations.Operate basic machinery, such as a drilling machine, when required.Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety procedures.Accurately record labor hours and production counts on labor tickets.Replenish supplies and prepare the workstation for the next shift.Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. QualificationsPrevious manufacturing or assembly experience preferred, but not required.Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a small team.Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.Willingness to work in various areas as needed (assembly and secondary operations).Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs as needed.
