Blockchain Developer

Job Title: Blockchain DeveloperType of Engagement: Full-TimeLocation: New York, NY / Jersey City, NJ (Onsite)Responsibilities:Design, develop, and deploy Web3 applications including smart contracts, wallet integrations, blockchain connectors, and on-chain event listeners.Build backend services that integrate with public and permissioned blockchain networks such as Ethereum, Hyperledger Besu, and Corda.Develop, test, and optimize Solidity smart contracts with a focus on security and gas efficiency.Integrate Web3 libraries (Web3J, Web3JS, Ethers.js, Viem) into Java/Spring Boot or Node.js applications.Implement event-driven architectures for blockchain event processing and transaction lifecycle management.Collaborate with architects and engineering teams to build scalable and secure blockchain solutions.Support tokenization, digital asset custody, and DeFi/TradFi integrations.Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, documentation, and technical troubleshooting.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.7+ years of software engineering experience with strong backend development expertise.2– 4 years of hands-on Web3 and blockchain development experience.Experience with Java/Spring Boot, Node.js, Solidity, and smart contract development.Strong knowledge of Ethereum, Hyperledger Besu/Fabric, or Corda.Experience with Web3 libraries such as Web3J, Web3JS, Ethers.js, or Viem.Understanding of blockchain fundamentals, cryptography, token standards (ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155), and event-driven architectures.Experience with Kafka/RabbitMQ, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.Exposure to Layer-2 solutions (Polygon, Optimism, zkSync) and financial services is a plus.Preferred Skills:Blockchain DevelopmentWeb3SolidityEthereumHyperledger BesuHyperledger FabricCordaSmart Contracts
