This role is responsible for creating detailed 2D and 3D laboratory designs, construction plans, renderings, and visualizations that support customer projects from concept through implementation.The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Revit, BIM, CAD platforms, and laboratory design projects. This position works closely with architects, engineers, sales teams, customers, and business stakeholders to develop innovative laboratory layouts and technical solutions that meet customer requirements.Key Responsibilities:Transform Matterport digital twin data, BIM files, and point clouds into formats used throughout the laboratory design lifecycleCreate detailed 2D and 3D concept designs, phasing plans, and construction drawings for laboratory and automation projectsDevelop advanced 3D models, renderings, and visualizations using industry-standard design softwareProduce technical layouts and construction documentation supporting implementation activitiesCollaborate with:Sales teamsField engineersArchitectsCustomersGlobal business stakeholdersProvide accurate technical specifications, installation requirements, and dimensional information to project teamsSupport laboratory design development through multiple project phases from concept through deploymentMaintain knowledge of applicable:Building codesIndustry standardsDesign regulationsManage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting project deadlines and turnaround requirementsSupport marketing and sales initiatives through high-quality visualizations and design presentationsEnsure design accuracy and consistency throughout project executionMaintain CAD files, BIM models, and project documentation according to company standardsQualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in:ArchitectureInterior DesignRelated design disciplineMinimum 4 years of recent experience with:RevitBIMCAD-related softwareStrong experience creating:Construction drawingsTechnical layouts3D visualizationsLaboratory designsAbility to read and interpret:Architectural drawingsMechanical drawingsTechnical specificationsStrong project management and organizational skillsExcellent communication and collaboration abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentPreferred Qualifications:Laboratory design experienceAdvanced proficiency with:RevitAutoCADSketchUpSimLabEnscapeTwinmotionUnreal EngineVisioExperience with:Building Information Modeling (BIM)Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)CAD file management and drafting standardsKnowledge of:Laboratory environmentsAutomation systemsExtended Reality (XR) technologiesExperience creating advanced renderings and customer-facing visualizationsWork Environment:This is a remote position supporting customers and project teams across multiple locations.
