Interior Designer II Pittsburgh, PA | Hybrid (4 days in-office / 1 remote)A Pittsburgh-based architecture and interior design firm is seeking a Mid-Level Interior Designer (5–8 years experience) to join its collaborative studio. The firm is known for design-forward work, strong client relationships, and a fully integrated approach where architecture and interiors are developed together from concept through completion.This role is ideal for a designer who enjoys both creative development and technical execution, values teamwork, and is looking to grow into a senior design or project management path over time.About the RoleYou’ll work closely with architects, project managers, and interior designers across a range of project types. While this is not a standalone project lead role initially, you’ll have meaningful design ownership and responsibility across all phases—from early concept through construction documentation and completion.Expect a balance of creative input and technical production, with the opportunity to see projects through from start to finish.Typical Time Allocation~20% Concept & design development~60% Construction documentation & detailing~20% Client interaction, presentations, and coordinationProjects are primarily interior-focused and typically progress from design through construction within about a year, giving designers strong exposure to fully realized work.
