Job DescriptionProject Manager - Structural SteelA respected steel fabricator and erector with an office in Fort Worth is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead structural steel metals projects from award through completion. This role is ideal for a detail-driven professional who understands steel construction, communicates well with clients and field teams, and delivers projects safely, on time, and on budget.As a Project Manager, you will oversee planning, scheduling, costs, subcontractors, and field coordination while working closely with clients, engineers, fabrication teams, and installers. If you excel at managing priorities, solving challenges, and driving successful project outcomes, this is a great opportunity to join a strong and growing team.Key ResponsibilitiesManage structural steel and miscellaneous metals projects from contract to close-outMaintain project schedules, budgets, and cost reportsCoordinate with field leaders, engineers, detailers, and fabrication shopsLead project meetings and maintain client communicationReview drawings, submittals, RFIs & change ordersMonitor progress, site logistics, safety, and qualityWork with vendors & subcontractors and review pricingCoordinate material releases and fabrication schedulesSupport project close-out and final documentationQualifications3+ years managing structural steel or miscellaneous metals projectsStrong understanding of steel erection, fabrication, or misc. metals scopeAbility to read drawings, specifications, and contractsExperience with scheduling, cost control & change managementStrong communication, organization & problem-solving skillsProficient with construction and project management softwarePreferredExperience with commercial or industrial steel projectsFamiliarity with AISC standardsBackground working for a steel fabricator or erectorExperience coordinating fabrication and installation schedulesCompensation & Benefits$95,000 - $120,000 DOE + bonus potentialHealth, Dental, VisionPTO & Paid Holidays401(k)Long-term growth opportunitiesIf you're a motivated project leader passionate about steel construction and delivering successful projects, we want to hear from you.Send your resume to: justin.knitt@gogpac.com
