Senior Facilities Technician

**Relocation Assistance**Job SummaryWe are seeking a Senior Facilities Technician to support the operation, maintenance, and reliability of facility infrastructure and utility systems within a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for performing advanced troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repair activities on building systems and critical utilities while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. The Senior Facilities Technician serves as a technical resource for facility-related issues and helps drive equipment reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on facility equipment, building systems, and utility infrastructure.Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and utility system issues.Support the operation and maintenance of critical utility systems, including HVAC, compressed air, water systems, generators, and other facility equipment.Respond to equipment failures and facility-related issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.Assist in the planning, execution, and oversight of facility projects, equipment installations, and system upgrades.Coordinate and monitor contractor and vendor activities to ensure work is completed safely and in compliance with company standards.Complete maintenance documentation, work orders, and equipment records within the CMMS system.Support facility inspections, audits, and regulatory compliance activities.Participate in investigations, deviations, and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) activities related to facility systems.Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and overall facility performance.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior maintenance or facilities personnel as needed.Maintain compliance with all company safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory requirements.Support after-hours, weekend, or on-call activities as required.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required; technical degree, trade certification, or equivalent technical training preferred.6+ years of facilities, maintenance, utilities, or building systems experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, food manufacturing, chemical processing, or other regulated industrial environments.Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and utility systems.Experience troubleshooting and repairing facility infrastructure and critical equipment.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, P&IDs, and technical documentation.Experience using CMMS systems for maintenance planning and documentation.Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
