Senior Tax AccountantOverview:We are looking for senior accountants/tax accountants with the educational background and experience in business tax law, tax planning, tax preparation, accounting, and financial statement preparation.Salary:$95,000-$125,000 + BenefitsEducation/Experience:Required: Bachelor’s in Accounting or relevant field3+ years in public accountingCPA Preferred but not required. Going through testing is nice as well!Core Responsibilities:Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standardsManage tax compliance for large and small organizations, with varying tax law, while ensuring filings are completed accurately and timelyCompute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, and other tax requirementsManage client services to complete, required statutory filings for income, and other taxes in multiple jurisdictions and tax consultingBe willing to think strategically regarding partnering with clients to ensure that their strategy is aligned with the firm's guidanceDevelop, implement, modify, and document record keeping and accounting systemsStay current on tax, business, and accounting developmentsRequirementsKnowledge and Skills:Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook, business and tax software, including GoFileRoom, Ultra Tax, Fixed Assets, and other related products.
