Tax Accountant

Position Overview:We are seeking a skilled Tax Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in business taxation, financial reporting, and accounting processes. You will work closely with clients to ensure accurate tax filings, compliance with regulations, and strategic financial planning.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and review financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.Manage client tax filings across multiple jurisdictions, providing guidance on tax planning and compliance.Maintain and improve accounting systems, documentation, and processes.Compute tax obligations and prepare returns for individuals and businesses.Stay current on tax legislation, accounting standards, and industry best practices.Collaborate with colleagues and clients to support financial decision-making.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.Minimum of 3 years’ experience in public accounting and business accounting.CPA certification is a plus but not required.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.Familiarity with accounting and tax software such as GoFileRoom, UltraTax, or Fixed Assets.Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
