Full Stack Developer - .NET/AI

Our client is a growing technology company building production software in a regulated industry. They're looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join their engineering team and help integrate agentic AI capabilities into their core product.This is a hands-on senior role where you'll build and scale full-stack applications while leveraging modern AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery. You'll own features from local development through deployment, with a strong focus on reliability, security, and maintainability as AI agents get integrated into the existing product ecosystem.ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain scalable full-stack features using C# and .NETWork with Angular and React on the frontendIntegrate agentic AI workflows into production, building reliable state management and execution patterns for consistency across complex, multi-step tasksWrite and tune complex SQL queries and design database schemas across MS SQL Server and PostgreSQLManage and scale AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform and CloudFormationMaintain automated CI/CD pipelines for compliant production deploymentsImplement observability and monitoring for traditional application logic and AI componentsParticipate in peer code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and help establish shared engineering standardsContribute in an Agile Scrum environmentRequirements8+ years of professional software engineering experience with deep expertise in C# and .NET CoreExtensive experience with modern frontend frameworks including Angular and ReactProven experience integrating AI models and agentic workflows into production applications within regulated environmentsProduction experience with AWS cloud infrastructure including Lambda, RDS, and BedrockStrong testing discipline across unit, integration, and contract testing, including evaluation harnesses for AI featuresExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical and AI-related tradeoffs to non-technical, legal, and compliance stakeholdersDemonstrated success implementing safety guardrails, security protocols, and auditability for AI-driven featuresProficiency with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or CursorExperience delivering software within highly regulated, audit-ready environmentsExperience with AI orchestration patterns such as RAG pipelines and Agentic State ManagementBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fieldDo not apply unless you are authorized to work in the United States for any employer as client company cannot sponsor or transfer visas at this time.Walker Elliott is an Equal Opportunity Employer.For additional information, please email your resume to resumes@walker-elliott.com or apply online.
