Join us in powering a future resonating with Central Moloney's strength.Position Summary: The Team Lead oversees the day-to-day operations of a specific production team within the manufacturing environment. This role ensures that production goals are met efficiently and effectively while maintaining high quality and safety standards. The Team Lead plays a pivotal role in driving LEAN manufacturing practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement among operators.ResponsibilitiesLead, coach, and support a team of production employees to achieve daily production, safety, and quality targetsFacilitate start-of-shift meetings to communicate priorities, production goals, and safety expectationsMonitor daily production flow, identify issues, and implement real-time solutions to maintain efficiencyEnsure all work is performed in accordance with standard operating procedures and quality requirementsPromote and enforce compliance with all safety standards, including OSHA and company policiesServe as the first point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and issue escalationProvide ongoing training, coaching, and performance feedback to develop team capabilityCoordinate with supervisors and cross-functional teams to align production activities across shifts and departmentsSupport labor planning and adjust staffing assignments to meet changing production needsEnsure availability of materials, tools, and equipment to meet production goalsDrive continuous improvement initiatives utilizing LEAN principles, including 5S and waste reductionTrack, report, and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) related to safety, quality, delivery, and efficiencyMaintain accurate production, safety, and quality documentationRequirementsEducation and QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required3-5 years of manufacturing or production experience preferredMinimum of 2 years in a leadership or team lead role preferredStrong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsProven problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environmentAbility to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing production demandsBasic computer skills and familiarity with production or ERP systemsPhysical and Environmental RequirementsLifting: Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.Environment: Work in a facility with loud noise, extreme temperatures, and environmental stressors.Physical Activities: Sit, stand, walk, bend, climb, crouch, reach, and grasp as needed.PPE: Wear required PPE, including eye and hearing protection, gloves, and safety toe footwear.Dexterity and Vision: Manual dexterity and specific vision abilities (close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment).Stamina: Stand for long shifts.Skills: Effective communication, basic math skills, and teamwork.Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and address hazards.Working Conditions:Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, moving machinery, and varying temperatures.
