Our ER team supports pets and their families during their most critical moments, and we take pride in delivering care with skill, urgency, and empathy.We are seeking a dedicated and dependable Veterinary Assistant - Overnight/Emergency to support our emergency and critical care team. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments, remain calm under pressure, and are passionate about helping animals in urgent and life-threatening situations.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist veterinarians and technicians during emergency exams, treatments, and proceduresSafely restrain patients for diagnostics and treatmentsSupport triage, treatment flow, and patient movement within the ERPrepare and clean treatment areas, exam rooms, and surgical suitesProvide basic care to hospitalized and critical patients (walking, feeding, comfort care)Clean, disinfect, and restock ER equipment and suppliesMaintain hospital cleanliness and safety standardsProvide compassionate support to clients during emotionally stressful situationsNational Veterinary Associates is a leading global pet care organization united in the love of animals and the people who love them.At NVA, we're on a mission to improve the lives of pets and the people who love them.
