We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician Floater who enjoys variety, adaptability, and supporting multiple areas of hospital operations.The Veterinary Technician Floater plays a vital role by providing skilled technical support across multiple departments, including General Practice, Surgery, Emergency, and Hospitalized Patient Care. This position is ideal for technicians who are flexible, proactive, and confident stepping in where support is most needed.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support across various departments based on daily hospital needsAssist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, treatments, and proceduresPerform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, laboratory testing, and medication administrationMonitor anesthesia and assist with surgical procedures as requiredCare for hospitalized patients, including treatment, monitoring, and documentationSupport ER and urgent care cases during peak times or staffing shortagesMaintain accurate medical records and treatment sheetsUphold hospital protocols, patient safety, and cleanliness standardsNational Veterinary Associates is a leading global pet care organization united in the love of animals and the people who love them.At NVA, we're on a mission to improve the lives of pets and the people who love them.
