Duties/ResponsibilitiesAct as a visual deterrent to prevent theft, embezzlement, sabotage, fire, and accidents.Conduct regular patrols.Monitor activities.Surveillance.Access control.Safety escorts.Using provided communication devices.Represent SSNW’s brand.Properly wear the issued uniform.Complete Daily Activity Reports (DAR).Complete Incident Reports.Work with local law enforcement, and emergency services.Provide friendly assistance to customers, employees, and visitors following the department's procedures.Other duties as described in the Post Orders.Required Skills/AbilitiesMust have a valid driver's licenseMust have a clean criminal record and driving record2-4 years of combined experience (Military, Law Enforcement, and/or Security) preferredAccess to a smartphone with access to the apps we use for scheduling, clocking in/out, and reporting.Reliable transportation, (must own your own car.)Honesty and integrity.Able to work non-traditional hours including swings, graveyard, weekends, and holidays.Must be able to obtain a Washington State Unarmed Security Guard License.Ability to react appropriately in high-stress situations.Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent.Prior public safety and/or military experience preferred.Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) card (or plans on obtaining one).Knowledge of security protocols and equipment.Physical RequirementsMust be able to conduct regular walking foot patrols.Able to stand 8-12 hours a day.Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.Security Services Northwest is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
