Superintendent - Industrial Projects
Job DescriptionSuperintendent - Industrial / Light Industrial ConstructionA long-standing and financially secure general contractor is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations on industrial and light industrial construction projects. This role carries full responsibility for on-site execution, including safety, schedule, quality, and coordination of all trades.This position requires travel to active project sites and is best suited for a Superintendent who prefers to be in the field, setting the pace of work, solving problems as they arise, and delivering complex projects in demanding environments.Key ResponsibilitiesLead all field operations from mobilization through project completionDevelop and manage site logistics, sequencing plans, and short-interval schedulesCoordinate subcontractors, inspections, and daily site activitiesEnforce safety standards and maintain a strong safety culture on siteDrive productivity and address field issues to keep projects on scheduleWork closely with Project Managers to align field execution with project objectivesReview plans and specifications to identify and resolve conflicts earlyMaintain accurate daily reporting, progress tracking, and look-ahead planningRepresent the company on site with owners, inspectors, and design partnersQualifications7+ years of experience as a Superintendent on industrial or light industrial projectsExperience with food and beverage production, warehouses, manufacturing facilities, distribution centers, or similar project typeStrong understanding of construction sequencing, means and methods, and site logisticsProven ability to lead crews and manage subcontractors in active construction environmentsWillingness and ability to travel to project sites as requiredEducationHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredConstruction-related education or training preferredCompensation & BenefitsHighly competitive compensation based on experienceBonus opportunityComprehensive benefits packagePer diem, travel accommodations, and vehicle allowance as applicableLong-term opportunity with a nationally recognized contractorThis role is intended for a Superintendent who wants clear authority in the field, ownership of the work, and the opportunity to deliver high-impact industrial projects.Apply online or email your resume to Kenna Warren at kenna.warren@gogpac.com .
