Senior Accountant

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join their Finance and Accounting Team and build out our financial function. The right person for this role will be ready to own all accounting functions and comfortable with establishing best practices and policies for accounting and finance and execute against those policies.Job Duties:Own all accounting functions including Billing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and reconciliationRun Month/Quarter and Year End closingsComplete SaaS Revenue RecognitionWork closely with Sales to manage Commission ReportingManage all Expense ReimbursementsCreate and manage best practices for accounting and finance processesEstablish and Monitor Internal Control SystemsRole Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance2-3 years experience in accounting and finance role with increasing level of authorityPreferred experience with ASC 606 preferred and private equity.Strong desire to grow with an organizationCombination of both strategic thinking and tactical execution, think big and execute!Superior communication skills with demonstrated ability to navigate a complex landscape, partner with the right teams at the right altitude, and drive cross-functional initiatives.Prefer a candidate that can work hybrid from Dedham office 2-3 days a week.
