We are seeking a Product Manager to own the definition and evolution of Alpha Hub’s core platform. This role is responsible for transforming market insight, research, and business needs into clear, actionable product requirements that engineering can execute against. Role Summary As Product Manager, you will: Own the technical SaaS product definition for Alpha Hub Translate research, user needs, and business goals into well-structured product requirements Partner closely with engineering to ensure clear, build-ready specifications Drive product development from problem discovery (requirements to delivery to iteration) Ensure consistency, scalability, and quality across the platform Key Responsibilities Product Definition & Requirements Ownership Own the creation of detailed product requirements, including PRDs, user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria Translate research, investment insights, and stakeholder input into clear, structured specifications Define end-to-end product behavior across UI, backend logic, APIs, and data flows Ensure requirements are complete, unambiguous, and ready for engineering execution Research Translation & Problem Structuring Work closely with Research & Analysis teams to synthesize findings into product-ready inputs Break down complex private capital workflows into modular, scalable product components Validate problem statements and ensure solutions are grounded in real user and market needs Engineering Partnership & Delivery Enablement Act as the primary interface between product definition and engineering execution Collaborate with engineers to refine requirements, address edge cases, and ensure feasibility Support sprint planning and development cycles by maintaining high-quality, prioritized requirements Ensure engineering teams have clarity, context, and direction - not just tasks Platform & System Thinking Define how features integrate into the broader Alpha Hub ecosystem (data models, APIs, workflows) Ensure consistency across the platform in terms of logic, structure, and user experience Anticipate scalability, performance, and maintainability considerations in product design Data, Metrics & Iteration Define success criteria for features (usage, engagement, match quality, workflow efficiency) Partner with analytics to ensure instrumentation and tracking are built into the product Use data and feedback to refine requirements and guide future iterations Cross-Functional Alignment Align research, design, engineering, and leadership around what is being built and why Communicate product decisions, tradeoffs, and requirements clearly across teams Ensure a shared understanding of priorities, scope, and expected outcomes Qualifications & Requirements Experience 5+ years as a Product Manager owning SaaS or platform-based products Strong experience writing detailed product requirements and technical specifications Proven ability to work closely with engineering teams to deliver complex systems Domain Knowledge Experience in fintech, private capital markets, or financial platforms strongly preferred Understanding of VC, PE, M&A, or investment workflows is a major plus Technical Product Skills Strong ability to define: User flows and system workflows API interactions and data structures Edge cases and failure scenarios Familiarity with: APIs (REST/GraphQL) Data-driven platforms and analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel) AI/ML-powered product features Methodologies Experience working in agile environments, but with a focus on clarity of requirements over process rituals Comfortable operating in fast-moving, iterative development cycles Soft Skills Exceptional written communication: ability to produce clear, structured, and actionable documentation Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail Ability to simplify complex concepts into buildable product components Effective collaborator with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Success Metrics Requirements Quality: Engineering clarity, reduced rework, minimal ambiguity Delivery Efficiency: Speed and predictability of moving from requirements to shipped features Feature Adoption & Usage: Measurable engagement with delivered functionality Platform Consistency: Cohesion and scalability across features and workflows Stakeholder Confidence: Alignment and trust across engineering, research, and leadership Why This Role Matters This Product Manager ensures that Alpha Hub is not just visionary, but buildable, scalable, and precise.
