DevSecOps Engineer
The Opportunity
Everyone is trying to "harness the cloud," but not everyone knows how. As a cloud computing application architect, you know how to create a cloud-based technical architecture that meets client needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities. We need you to help us develop cloud-based solutions for some of Department of War's toughest problems.
As a leader on our team, you'll collaborate with software developers, security personnel, system operators, and other IT staff members to manage code releases, test and monitor systems for vulnerabilities, create new programs to patch gaps in the current security program and add countermeasures to prevent against new threats, develop and maintain scripts to automate existing manual build and deployment procedures via CI/CD pipelines, develop and maintain automation procedures to assist with infrastructure automation. This is an opportunity to use the latest cloud technologies as you look for ways to improve your client's environment using current cloud capabilities. Your technical expertise will be vital as you work with the client to inform strategy and design and ensure standards are met throughout the cloud migration process.
You'll recommend tools and solutions based on your research of the current environment and knowledge of various on-premise, cloud-based, and hybrid resources. You'll use your experience to guide your team as they help the client overcome their most difficult challenges in the cloud.

Qualifications
10+ years of experience with program management, including managing complex IT projects
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree in Project Management or IT
DoDM 8140.03 for Defensive Cyber Workforce (DCWF) Work Role 801 Advanced Level Certification
PMI Certification, such as PgMP or PMP
ITIL 4 Foundation and Managing Professional Framework Certification
Nice If You Have
Experience with Agile methodologies and project tools
Experienced in developing and writing Performance Work Statements (PWS) or Statements of Work (SOW)
Experience reviewing vendor proposals and vendor management to align contracts and SLAs
Experience with performance-based and award fee contracts
Knowledge of DoD project or program management practices
Ability to lead large, multifunctional teams of 150+ personnel, work independently, and anticipate, mitigate, and resolve risks and conflicts across workstreams
Master's degree in Project Management or IT
SAFe Program Consultant Certification
Clearance

Compensation and Benefits
Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
