Your solutions will run on virtual and physical hardware across globally dispersed, WAN-connected sites, integrated into public, private, and hybrid cloud environments. We need a proven Windows desktop engineer with depth in MECM/MCM, application virtualization, and deployment tooling - and the clearance to work where it matters most. What you'll own You'll carry solutions through the full IT project lifecycle - from refining requirements and creating design documentation to deployment and ongoing O&M support.Design and define system architecture for Windows desktop solutions and client-based applicationsBuild, deploy, and administer large-scale, multi-domain enterprise Windows environments - virtual and physicalEngineer and package client software installations for Microsoft Windows desktops across diverse environmentsIntegrate Windows desktops with enterprise services including public, private, and hybrid cloud platformsPlan and direct OS version upgrades and supporting infrastructure changesEvaluate desktop software and hardware technologies and recommend the most efficient implementation approachSupport mobile users on laptop hardware with maintained, secure Windows configurationsIntegrate anti-virus and malware products into Windows desktop configurations and lead remediation effortsExecute rapid software fix deployments for desktops and serversProduce design documentation, installation instructions, and deployment plans to support every project What you bring to the table Must-havesActive TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph5+ years of related Windows desktop engineering experience; B.S. degree or equivalentCompTIA Security+ or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT Level II certificationMECM/MCM packaging experience with deep knowledge of OSD, MDT, and IntuneExperience with Microsoft Windows desktop design, engineering, and implementationExperience engineering and deploying client software installation packages for physical and virtual Windows desktopsApplication virtualization experience: Citrix XenApp, Citrix App Layering, Microsoft App-V, and MSIX App AttachExperience maintaining Windows desktop systems for mobile/laptop usersAnti-virus and malware product integration and remediation within Windows desktop environmentsRapid software fix deployment experience for both desktops and servers Strong differentiatorsActive Directory, Group Policy, DFS, DNS, and DHCP administrationVMware Dynamic Environment ManagerMicrosoft Azure and Office 365Windows Server 2016 and 2019PowerShell or other Windows automation scriptingServiceNow task management and workflow trackingDISA STIG compliance and system security hardening Your clearance. The salary range for this position is typically $145-$155k.
