Human Resources Director
A well-established organization in the Charleston area is seeking an experienced HR Director to lead and oversee all human resources functions. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for shaping HR strategy while managing day-to-day operations.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage all core HR functions, including talent acquisition, onboarding, compensation & benefits, performance management, employee relations, and compliancePartner closely with executive leadership to support current and future talent needs, retention initiatives, and succession planningOversee HR team workflow, provide coaching and development, and deliver timely performance feedbackServe as a trusted advisor on complex employee matters, including investigations, accommodations, disciplinary actions, and terminationsManage full-cycle recruitment for exempt, professional, and leadership roles in collaboration with department headsAnalyze compensation and benefits trends and recommend competitive programs to attract and retain top talentDevelop and implement training and development initiatives to support employee growthEnsure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practicesMaintain HRIS systems and leverage data to drive informed people decisionsQualifications:8+ years of HR management or leadership experienceBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferredSHRM‑CP or SHRM‑SCP highly desiredStrong knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, and HRIS platformsExcellent communication, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skillsAbility to lead with professionalism, integrity, and confidentialityCompensation:Starting salary over $100K and up (depending on experience)
