The firm has over 40 years of experience representing individuals in complex, high-stakes litigation against large institutions such as corporations, healthcare systems, universities, and government entities.The practice focuses on areas including personal injury, medical malpractice, product liability, and sexual abuse litigation, and has achieved significant verdicts and settlements nationwide.With a team of experienced trial attorneys supported by a mid-sized professional staff, the firm is known for handling sensitive, high-impact cases requiring diligence, discretion, and strong litigation supportPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join the firm’s Child Victims Act (CVA)/Sexual Abuse Department. This role requires a highly organized professional capable of independently managing a high-volume caseload and supporting attorneys throughout all phases of litigation.This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in-office.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:Manage and track a high-volume litigation caseload within the CVA/Sexual Abuse practice areaDraft pleadings, motions, and litigation documents, including discovery requests and responsesHandle state and federal e-filing across multiple jurisdictions (multi-state experience preferred)Coordinate service of process and maintain case files from inception through resolutionManage multi-time zone calendaring, tracking court deadlines, depositions, hearings, and trial datesSchedule and prepare attorneys for depositions, hearings, mediations, and client meetingsProvide full trial preparation and trial supportMaintain regular communication with clients regarding case status and required documentationOrganize and maintain detailed, accurate case records and filesQualifications & SkillsMinimum 5+ years of plaintiff-side litigation experience in personal injuryExperience in sexual abuse/CVA litigation strongly preferredAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skillsProven ability to multi-task, prioritize, and proactively manage workloadExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience with multi-jurisdictional litigation and calendaring systemsProficiency with:Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookAdobe AcrobatCase management software (e.g., Filevine or similar – preferred)Experience with trial preparation and support in complex litigationWhat We’re Looking ForA self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume litigation environmentA collaborative team player with strong initiativeA professional capable of working on sensitive and high-impact matters involving survivors of abuseWhy Consider This OpportunityWork on meaningful, high-profile litigation with national scopeJoin an experienced and collaborative litigation teamExposure to complex, multi-party casesCompetitive compensation and benefitsResponsibilitiesLegal fact and basic legal researchAssist with case managementOrganize and electronically file pleadingsCoordinate and schedule calendarsQualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent2+ years' as Litigation Legal Assistant or ParalegalAbility to work overtime
