Top law firm is hiring a litigation paralegal who acts as the operational project manager for high-stakes lawsuits. Responsibilities span the entire case lifecycle, including intensive document review, drafting court filings, managing e-Discovery, and providing on-site, real-time support during trials. Core ResponsibilitiesCase & Document Management: Organize and maintain massive document databases, track exhibits, and prepare privilege logs. e-Discovery: Collaborate with internal legal technology teams and external vendors to process, review, and produce Electronically Stored Information (ESI). Trial & Hearing Preparation: Compile trial notebooks, coordinate witness schedules, manage evidence logistics, and handle exhibits during court proceedings. Research & Analysis: Conduct factual research, cite-check legal briefs, and summarize deposition transcripts or medical/financial records. Court Filings: Prepare and file legal pleadings in both state and federal courts, ensuring strict adherence to specific procedural rules and deadlines. Typical QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree is required Skills: High proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and industry-standard document review platforms (e.g., Relativity, Concordance).
