Korn Ferry has partnered with our client on their search for the role, Centerline Construction Engineer.* This company is specifically seeking candidates with at least 4 years of Active U.S. Military Leadership experience *MILITARY LEADERSGAS TURBINE TECHNICIANSROAD WARRIORSThe Military Division of Korn Ferry has partnered with our client on their search for a Centerline Construction Engineer covering customer locations nationwide ** this is a HIGH TRAVEL role: up to 80% (60% CONUS, ~40% international) This global organization is a pioneer in the design and production of technologically advanced equipment for energy & power systems – looking for polished individuals with strong Leadership and Maintenance skills, seeking a role with lots of room for exciting career growth.6-10 years of Turbine/shipboard installation experience is highly preferred, and will give you a huge advantage over other candidates!Compensation: $95,000 – 105,000 base Travel: Work is normally M-F, 7am-4pm. This role is for ROAD WARRIORS - HIGH TRAVEL: 60% CONUS with 40% international (most likely one international trip over a 2-3 year period with the rest of travel being Domestic. international locations most likely are Canada, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic.)Work assignments will be 6-9 months at a time, and you will be provided with accommodations such as an extended stay hotel or Airbnb.What You Will Do:Will field-install large turbines, generators, and auxiliary systems.Lead & direct subcontractors to do necessary tasks to install equipment.Attend site meetings with customers/subcontractors to coordinate tasks.Coordinate and manage the timing of material received on site as necessary.Education and Work Experience:at least 4 years of Active Duty U.S. Military Leadership experience requiredTargeting Gas Turbine Technicians w/shipboard installation experience (6–10 years is sweet spot.)Must have experience in removal & new installations of LM500s on ships (should be able to speak about the process.)Experienced mechanical/field engineers comfortable supervising turbine/generator installation crews in the field.Role requires a mechanical background; must be able to read drawings and schematics necessary for the installation of the equipment.Growth into the area of field commissioning of systems is possible over time.Title: Centerline Construction EngineerLocation: Remote (must live within 1 hour of a major airport)Client Job ID: 510793545
