Regional Logistics Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced logistics leader to support regional product movement, transportation coordination, and supply chain execution across a defined operating area. This role is designed as a temporary leadership assignment focused on overseeing freight activity, managing logistics personnel, and ensuring efficient flow of goods tied to commercial sales and tradesResponsibilitiesCoordinate freight scheduling and booking to meet timing requirements for purchase and sale commitmentsOversee fleet upkeep, service tracking, and regulatory adherence in coordination with fleet leadershipServe as primary logistics contact for customers and suppliers regarding shipment timing and product availabilityPartner with commercial teams to improve product movement efficiency and reduce overall costEnsure accurate entry of equipment transactions and collaborate with accounting to resolve discrepanciesInvestigate and resolve logistics issues including shortages, weight differences, wait time charges, and demurrageSubmit required reports, expense documentation, and participate in assigned industry eventsLead logistics personnel including drivers, dispatchers, and site-level logistics leadership while supporting hiring and developmentQualificationsAbility to operate effectively within an established organizational cultureEducation comparable to a four-year degree in business, supply chain, economics, or related experienceExtensive experience in logistics leadership within agricultural commodities, including familiarity with transportation regulationsStrong understanding of transportation, logistics coordination, and supply chain processes with attention to detailClear communication skills with the ability to engage professionally across internal and external stakeholdersProficiency with common office applications and familiarity with enterprise systems preferredStrong organizational ability with capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
