Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Assistant Maintenance Manager to support daily maintenance operations and ensure optimal performance of all plant equipment. This role will assist in leading maintenance teams, improving equipment reliability, and driving continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced production environment. As an Assistant Maintenance Manager, You Will: Support and lead maintenance teams to ensure all production equipment is operating efficiently and safely Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to reduce downtime and improve reliability Collaborate with production, quality, sanitation, and engineering teams to support operational goals Troubleshoot and assist with repairs on industrial equipment including conveyors, mixers, ovens, and automated systems Drive continuous improvement initiatives including Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, and root cause analysis Monitor and improve key performance indicators such as downtime, mean time between failures, and maintenance costs Ensure compliance with safety regulations, OSHA standards, and company policies Support inventory management of spare parts and maintenance supplies Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and reporting systems Assist in managing maintenance budgets, schedules, and workforce planning Train, coach, and develop maintenance technicians to improve team performance Support a positive and collaborative work environment across all departments Skills/Requirements: 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing or food production environment Strong knowledge of industrial equipment, maintenance practices, and troubleshooting techniques Experience with automation systems, PLCs, electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and refrigeration Familiarity with maintenance management systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred Benefits: Medical insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance 401(K) with company match Paid Time Off Life insurance Salary: $65K-$70K Ask for: Hersha Dwyer Job Id: 26083 Ajulia Executive Search is a New Jersey-based Executive Search Firm specializing in retained searches across multiple sectors including Manufacturing, Construction, Finance, IT, Legal, and Pharmaceutical.
