Remote Field Mechanic

A well-established team of equipment specialists based in Charlotte, NC, are looking to add experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanics to join their skilled team as a Remote Field Service Technician in the United States (within 2 hours of a major airport).In this role, you will be expected to diagnose, repair, and maintain Mobile and Stationary Equipment. Depending on their base of operations, qualified candidates could be provided with a take-home service truck, fuel card, company visa and extensive training and opportunities to travel. This position requires a lot of air travel and a fair amount of overnights where the company will cover expenses & accommodations at Quality Hotels.Qualifications:5+ years Experience with Heavy Equipment maintenance and repairsAbility to troubleshoot, test, repair, electrical and hydraulic systemsKnowledge of Diesel Engines and or 3 phase power is a benefitUnderstand electrical and hydraulic schematicsWelding experience is preferred but not necessaryDriver's License RequiredAbility to pass pre-employment drug screen, medical and background checkMust be willing to accommodate frequent travel air travelMust be willing to travel on short noticeCompensation:$100,000 - $120,000/yr to start, based on previous experience and skill setTruck provided for field tech positions - work, clock-in and clock-out from home - company credit and fuel cardComprehensive Benefit Package + Boot & Supplied Tools + Matching 401K Plan + PTO15 days PTO to startShifts:Day Shift, (Monday - Friday) 40 hours per week additional hours based on job requirementsWill need to pass pre employment checks#MHM#J-18808-Ljbffr
