Keenesburg, CO 80643Shop Positions:In Field, Traveling as RequiredReports To:Fleet Director and Shop ForemanDrug/Medical Testing: Preemployment Drug Screening and DOT physicalDriver's license and MVR requirement: Valid Class 'A' CDL Driver's License with no restrictions and a clean MVREducation: High School Diploma or GED or EquivalentExperience:Minimum of 2 years' previous experience as a diesel mechanic or be a graduate of a technical school with a diesel specialtyExperience with hydraulics is a plusQualifications/Certifications:Applicable ASE certifications are beneficialMust be qualified to perform DOT MCSA annual inspections, or willing to obtain this qualificationTechnical Skills: Must have intermediate level computer skills for day-to-day operations, sending emails, navigating phone apps and completing fleet reportsMust be legally authorized to work in the United StatesEssential Skills, Duties and Responsibilities General:Performs all duties assigned by managerThe primary role is to safely and quickly do what is required to keep our equipment operational and productiveWith little supervision, you will be required to complete large and small equipment repairs in the fieldTypes of repairs include engine, electrical, hydraulic and chassisYou will assist with ensuring maintenance is up to date, and perform scheduled preventative equipment maintenanceHelp with employee equipment operation training, ensure inspections are completed, and equipment is taken out of service if damaged or brokenMust be resourceful and solution drivenUnderstand and comply with Company Policies and Operating ProceduresAdministration:Documentation done in a timely mannerEnsure accurate reporting and trackingCommunication:Maintains open communication with leadership and crewsQuality:Ensure that repairs are completed with high standardsDiligent and is detail orientedBelieves, works and lives by Altitude's "Core Values"Team player, that is a good listener, approachable, and has a positive attitudeMust remain calm in stressful situations.Forward thinking and proactive.
