Registered Nurse

RN-Research NurseResearch Nurse is responsible for study unit activities in the conduct of Phase 1 clinical trials with emphasis on the safety and welfare of study participantsEnroll patients into clinical trials: Informed Consent (ICF) process- educating, explaining and informing participants of study proceduresUtilize skills, knowledge, nursing diagnosis, and clinical judgement in order to provide a high standard of care for participants in clinical trialsUtilize nursing assessment skills to observe participant general well-being and potential adverse events.Document adverse events and take appropriate action as neededObtain Informed Consent and continue the ICF process by educating, explaining and informing participants of study proceduresPerform study-related activities such as Cannulation, telemetry, holters, vital signs, ECGs, venipunctureCollect and processes biological samples according to the protocol and Standard Operating ProceduresRecord data obtained in a timely, error free manner according to the protocol and Standard Operating ProceduresTranscribe source data onto the Case Report FormQualificationsRN License must be active and in good standing in WisconsinAssociates DegreeNursing experience in a patient facing settingCPR and ACLS CertificationsPay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
