Senior Software Developer

We are seeking a Mid to Senior Level Software Developer with strong data-driven application development experience to support the build-out of AWS-based data platforms. This role focuses on developing and maintaining data pipelines that move data from source systems into a newly established AWS data lake environment for consumption by analytics teams.Required Experience:6-12 years of experience in Software DevelopmentStrong programming experience with Java and PythonExperience designing and implementing data pipelinesHands-on experience working with big data environmentsStrong AWS experience, specifically: Amazon ECSAmazon EMRExperience moving data from source systems to destination platforms within AWS environmentsExperience building and supporting data platforms in AWSKey Responsibilities:Develop and maintain data pipelines that ingest and move data across AWS platformsSupport the implementation of a new AWS data lake environmentMove and integrate data from various source systems into the AWS ecosystemBuild data infrastructure that enables downstream reporting and analytics use casesEnsure data is available and accessible for analytics teams to utilizePreferred Qualifications:Experience with Apache KafkaAdditional Notes:This is not an ETL Developer role.Analytics experience is not required.The focus of this role is on building data platforms and data movement solutions within AWS environments.
