Territory Sales Manager

Job DescriptionQuality and innovation are at the forefront of everything we do at New Image Dental Laboratory. We are looking for a dynamic and energetic individual to join our sales team. The primary responsibility of the Territory Sales Manager is to drive profitable sales growth by developing, maintaining and advancing accounts by regularly contacting dental offices in the South Atlanta region. It is a well-established territory with potential for substantial growth.Success in this role requires in-person sales and the ability to strategically sell in a competitive market. An ambitious mentality and the ability to be focused, organized, independent and flexible in different and dynamic environments are critical. A dental background is preferred and this is an individual contributor position, not a manager of a team.Essential FunctionsNurture relationships with existing customers to create opportunities for repeat sales and upsells.Generate leads through cold calling, referrals and meetings with potential customers.Develop consistent relationships with clinicians and their team members by discussing and analyzing their business needs and focus on solutions.Consistent follow-up visits to ensure that the quality and service of laboratory products meet and exceed expectations. Attend occasional trade shows and evening programs.Network with industry vendors.Meet and exceed quotas.Maintain accurate records for existing clients, prospects and sales records.80% of the time will be spent “on the road” meeting with current and prospective clients and cold calling. 20% of the time will be spent doing administrative work.Desired Education and experienceBachelor’s degree in any related field and 2+ years of outside sales experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.2+ years of dental industry experience is preferred.Effective interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present are required.General computer proficiency.Ability to keep detailed records.Ability to travel to do business.Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.Possession of a valid driver’s license is required and must have reliable transportation.
