Title: Inventory Analyst – Material PlannerLocation: Coffeyville, KansasDetails: 12-month contract with ongoing need, opportunity for direct hire, fully onsite rolePay Rate: $28.00/hr. with benefit inclusions1st shift, 6:00am – 2:30pm CSTVisa sponsorship is not available for this position now or in the futureJob SummaryThe Inventory Analyst Lead is responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy through the execution and oversight of audit processes, cycle counting, and reconciliation activities. This role supports manufacturing and materials operations by monitoring inventory transactions, analyzing discrepancies, and driving improvements in inventory control processes. The position also provides work direction and coaching to inventory personnel, ensuring alignment with operational and financial objectives.ResponsibilitiesImplement and manage inventory audits and related transactions to measure and maintain inventory accuracyCoordinate and compile inventory audit requirements across internal teams and external partnersMonitor and support manufacturing and materials processes such as RGA handling, cycle counting, and disposition of excess or obsolete materialAnalyze and resolve inventory discrepancies and issues, partnering with cross-functional teams to improve inventory turns and accuracyConduct daily, monthly, and annual inventory audits, including financial accuracy and operational compliance reviewsPrepare, review, and maintain perpetual inventory reports and related documentationWork with factory teams to identify process improvements and drive inventory performance enhancementsProvide work direction, guidance, and coaching to cycle counters and junior inventory analystsEnsure completion of administrative activities related to personnel support and alignment with HR processesYears Of Experience And EducationBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or a related field preferred3+ years of experience in inventory control, materials management, or manufacturing operationsExperience supporting inventory audits, cycle counting, and reconciliation processes in a production environmentSkills RequiredStrong understanding of inventory control principles, cycle counting, and audit processesExperience with manufacturing or materials management systems and processes (e.g., RGA, excess material disposition)Ability to analyze data, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actionsProficiency in preparing and interpreting inventory and financial reportsStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to work cross-functionally to resolve issuesLeadership and coaching abilities to guide less experienced team membersExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalHigh attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment#INDEPI
