Come be a part of this incredible and inclusive team at Invited!Job SummaryThe Marshall responsibilities are providing exceptional professionalism and customer service to members and guests on the course. This role involves enforcing club rules related to golf etiquette and play with balance of courtesy and authority, while proactively ensuring a smooth pace of play and fostering a positive overall experience for all players.Reporting Structure• Reports to the Head Golf ProfessionalDay-to-DayAssist members/guests by offering advice on golf course etiquette, assisting with lost balls, and providing rides upon request.Inform members/guests about club offerings, features, events, and golf shop specials.Ensure presence on the course as scheduled, while coordinating with starters or other golf operations staff to report any incidents or issues requiring attention.Consistently enforce club rules related to the golf course, ensuring a smooth experience for all players.Address rule violations professionally, maintaining a courteous demeanor at all times.Repair ball marks, when possible, fill divots with topsoil, pick up loose items on the course, and ensure cart guidance ropes and supports are straightened.Collaborate with other golf operations staff such as outside services, range attendants, and cart attendants to ensure smooth and efficient service for members and guests.Ensure that daily duties in assigned areas are completed to club standards, in line with the Star Service FOCUS expectations (e.g., keeping the course free of trash, restocking supplies, maintaining tidy signage, etc.).Additional DutiesDue to the dynamic nature of the club, employees are expected to assist others as needed and take on additional tasks as assigned by management.Follow all company, club, and department policies, procedures, and instructions.Maintain a high level of professionalism and a commitment to excellence in interactions with members, colleagues, and staff.Follow safe working practices, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and encouraging others to do the same.Take the initiative in personal and professional growth and maintain any required certifications relevant to your role.Address and resolve challenges using available resources, working with regional and corporate teams to support club operations.Attend daily briefings and actively engage in required activities to stay informed and contribute to the team's success.About YouPreferredPrior experience in a similar role or extensive knowledge of golf.Ability to walk long distances and carry heavy bags (up to 75 lbs.) for extended periods.Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with members, guests, and staff.Excellent knowledge of golf etiquette, rules, and best practices.A positive attitude and commitment to providing outstanding service.High attention to detail and reliability.Physical RequirementsPrimarily outdoors with frequent exposure to extreme hot or cold temperatures and humidity.Sitting, standing, walking, climbing/ladders, squatting/kneeling, reaching, grasping, pushing/pulling, twisting/bending, lifting/carrying up to 100 lbs., talking, hearing, and seeing.Primary Tools/EquipmentGolf clubsGolf bagsMerchandiseOther golf related tools/accessoriesWork ScheduleAdherence to attendance requirements as outlined in the weekly schedule.Flexibility to work additional hours as needed to meet position deadlines.Availability to work on weekends and/or holidays as required.Have more questions?
