We offer exceptional compensation and benefits, 401K, training, and opportunity for advancement - all in a culture that appreciates and rewards excellence, a positive attitude and integrity.Major Areas of Responsibility:Fulfill and ship customers parts requirements in order to obtain and maintain maximum customer satisfactionReceive incoming stock or transfer parts, ensure accuracy, packing slip and inventoryMaintain a neat and clean appearance in the customer parts area and parts warehouseReceives items by unloading vehicles; accepting deliveries; unpacking containers.Verifies items received by inspecting the condition of items; comparing count/measure of items to purchase order and packing list; noting discrepanciesDocument items received by recording identifying informationFills orders by studying requests - locating and retrieving itemsReplace damaged items and shortages or obtains credit by informing shipper and transporter of damage or shortage; returning damaged items; requesting new items or credit for shortagesReceives credit-return materials from production by verifying identifying information and quantity of materials - placing materials in inventoryPrepares shipments by assembling, packing, protecting, and labeling containersShips items by verifying identifying information and quantity and condition of items; loading and protecting itemsDocuments items shipped by recording identifying information of items and transport informationMaintains shipping and receiving materials by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed materials; placing and expediting orders for materials; verifying receipt of materialsMaintains parts and supplies inventory by receiving, inspecting, and verifying items; identifying and storing items; recording location; reordering itemsMaintains parts and supplies database by inputting additions, deletions, and corrections.Verifies inventory by conducting physical countsMaintains a clean and safe work environment by following standards and procedures - complying with legal regulationsOther duties may be assigned Qualifications:Forklift certification is a plus but not requiredHigh School Diploma or equivalent Skills:Requires reporting, organization, communication & teamwork skillsMust have the ability to analyze information, deal with complex issues, and meet deadlinesInventory control and data entry skills Physical Demands: Ability to move items weighing at least 90 poundsThe person in this position needs to move constantly for extended periods of time (80-100% of shift)Ability to work indoors for extended periods of time.This job description is subject to change at any time.ABC Companies is an equal opportunity employer.
