About the RoleWe are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support our client's large, complex, and highly visible manufacturing facility in Fort Worth, TX. This is a hands‑on, on‑site role within a global enterprise networking team, responsible for maintaining uptime across mission‑critical production environments that directly impact manufacturing operations.This role is ideal for an experienced network engineer who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys owning production issues, and is comfortable operating with a high degree of independence while collaborating closely with global peers and senior architects.What You’ll Be Working OnSupporting a large manufacturing campus with enterprise‑scale LAN and WLAN infrastructureActing as an escalation point for network incidents impacting production and end usersMonitoring network performance and troubleshooting complex connectivity and performance issuesDesigning and implementing network modifications to support evolving business and operational needsSupporting wireless, LAN, WAN, cloud, and SaaS connectivity across the enterpriseCollaborating with senior network engineers, architects, vendors, and site leadershipMaintaining accurate network diagrams and technical documentationContributing to site design requirements, upgrades, and cost estimatesSupporting other global sites as part of a shared enterprise support modelWhat We’re Looking ForRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience5+ years of hands‑on enterprise networking experienceStrong knowledge of LAN and WLAN, including troubleshooting in live production environmentsSolid understanding of TCP/IP, routing and switching, and protocols such as OSPF, BGP, STPExperience with network monitoring tools and incident escalationProven ability to troubleshoot complex issues under pressureStrong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholdersComfortable operating independently as the sole network engineer on‑site, with remote team supportWillingness to provide off‑hours and on‑call support as neededAbility and willingness to travel globally (up to ~25%)Full authorization to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)Preferred / Nice‑to‑Have ExperienceExperience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or production environmentsHands‑on experience with enterprise wireless at scaleFamiliarity with Aruba, Cisco, HP, or Fortinet networking platformsExposure to EVPN/VXLAN, SD‑WAN, QoS, or large campus networksExperience collaborating closely with network architects and defending technical decisionsComfort working within global, distributed teamsWork Environment & Expectations100% on‑site role in Fort Worth, TX (not remote)Office‑based work with regular visits to active manufacturing and production areasManufacturing environments may include noise, dust, PPE requirements, and exposure to heavy equipmentOccasional physical tasks, such as installing or supporting network equipment in racks
