Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Apprentice Stylist, located in White Plains, NY. The role involves assisting lead stylists with day-to-day activities, such as shampooing, preparing clients for services, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and providing support during styling sessions. The Assistant Apprentice Stylist will also learn and practice advanced styling techniques for curly hair textures, assist with client consultations, and ensure high levels of customer service and client satisfaction. Qualifications Basic haircare skills, including shampooing, blow-drying, and cleaning tools and workspacesInterest in learning and mastering curly hair care and advanced styling techniquesCustomer service and interpersonal communication skills, ensuring a welcoming and professional client experienceAbility to follow instructions, work in a team environment, and take initiative when neededPassion for haircare and styling, with a willingness to continuously improve and learnFlexibility to work in a fast-paced salon environment and maintain professionalismHigh school diploma or equivalent; cosmetology training or enrollment in a cosmetology program is a plus
