This role reports to the CFO and plays a key role in maintaining strong financial operations in support of meaningful, community‑focused programs.What You’ll Do:Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processesPrepare and review GAAP‑compliant financial statements and internal/external reportsSupport budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoringManage restricted fund and endowment accounting, including donor and grant reportingLead the annual audit and ensure compliance with federal and state requirementsOversee accounting systems and drive process improvementsServe as backup for payroll and support employee benefit administration as neededWhat We’re Looking For:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field5+ years of accounting experience, including nonprofit experienceStrong knowledge of nonprofit GAAP, restricted funds, and audit processesExperience with cloud‑based accounting systems (Sage Intacct strongly preferred)Detail‑oriented, collaborative, and comfortable working independentlyCPA a plusWhy This Role Could Be a Great Fit:Opportunity to partner closely with senior leadership and have real visibility and influence within the organizationMeaningful, mission‑driven work where financial stewardship directly supports programs that serve the communityStable, well‑established nonprofit environment with room to improve processes and make a lasting impactRole suited for someone seeking a balance of hands‑on accounting and strategic contribution
