SummaryWe are representing a reputable and growing civil engineering firm seeking a Civil Engineer with a strong background in municipal design. The ideal candidate will have experience in site development, grading, stormwater systems, sanitary sewer, storm drain, and landfill-related design. This role will support a variety of public infrastructure projects and provide opportunities for technical leadership and professional growth.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review engineering designs, plans, and specifications for civil site development, landfills, storm drain, sewer, and grading projectsConduct hydrology, hydraulic, and stormwater management calculationsCoordinate with public agencies, utility companies, and internal team membersSupport permitting efforts and prepare technical documentation for regulatory complianceDevelop construction documents and assist in construction administration tasksReview and incorporate applicable municipal and environmental codes and standardsParticipate in project planning, budgeting, and schedulingSupport senior engineers and project managers in client communication and project deliveryPerform site visits and support field inspections when neededQualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required2+ years of experience in civil engineering design, ideally focused on municipal projectsProfessional Engineer (P.E.) license in California preferred or ability to obtainProficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design softwareFamiliarity with local public works standards, Caltrans, and regional utility design requirementsStrong communication, technical writing, and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently or as part of a teamProject Types May Include:Municipal infrastructure improvementsLandfill design and closurePublic site developmentStorm drain and sanitary sewer systemsGrading and erosion control plansStormwater treatment systems and detention basinsCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experienceHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with employer matchPTO, sick time, and paid holidaysContinuing education and licensing supportCareer advancement opportunities within a collaborative team environment
