We are addressing a major unmet need across the industry and actively partner with pharmaceutical companies, research institutions, and biotech.About the Role:We are seeking a RA / Sr. RA to conduct chemical synthesis of peptides and performing in vitro assays to evaluate the pharmacokinetics (PK) and pharmacodynamics (PD) properties of therapeutic candidates. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with peptide chemistry and will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to support various drug discovery projects.ResponsibilitiesPerform peptide synthesis on Multi Pep synthesizerPerform in vitro biochemical assays with peptides and proteinsMaintenance of chemistry instruments and suppliesWhat we’re looking for:Ability to work on site in our lab spaces located in the Research Park at Marina Village (Alameda, CA)Experience with solid phase peptide synthesisExperience with automated peptide synthesizers (Multi Pep or similar) highly preferredExperience with performing in vitro biochemical assaysNice to have: Previous experience with high-throughput screening workflowMotivated and proactive with strong problem-solving skillsAbility to multitask and manage several projects simultaneouslyTeam-oriented and open to collaboration across scientific disciplinesTitle is dependent on academic and professional experience – we recruit diverse backgrounds including those with academic, non-profit, and industry experiences!○ RA / Senior RA – Undergraduate and 2+ yrs industry (or similar) experience
