Business Intelligence Analyst / Application Developer
The Business Intelligence Analyst / Application Developer designs, builds, maintains, and enhances business applications and their supporting data integrations to enable effective decision support. This role focuses on developing data-driven applications, integrating multiple data sources, and continuously improving existing solutions to meet evolving business needs. Experience with PowerApps or similar low-code platforms is preferred.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, maintain, and enhance business applications that support reporting, analytics, and decision-makingDevelop and manage integrations between applications, data sources, and supporting databasesCollaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into functional and technical solutionsAnalyze existing applications and recommend new features, enhancements, or expansions to improve usability and performanceDevelop data models, queries, and connections that ensure accurate, timely, and meaningful insightsEnsure applications follow best practices for data quality, security, and performanceTroubleshoot application, data, and integration issues and provide timely resolutionDocument application designs, integrations, and enhancement recommendationsSupport testing, deployment, and ongoing user adoption of developed solutionsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Experience designing and developing business applications and data-driven solutionsExperience working with databases and data integration technologiesStrong understanding of business intelligence, reporting, and decision-support conceptsAbility to translate business needs into technical solutionsPreferred QualificationsExperience with Microsoft PowerApps, Power Platform, or similar low-code/no-code development toolsExperience integrating multiple data sources (e.g., SQL databases, cloud data sources, APIs)Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platformsExperience supporting enterprise or departmental applications used for operational or strategic decision-makingTechnical SkillsApplication development and enhancementData integration and database designSQL and data queryingPowerApps or similar low-code platformsBI and analytics conceptsSoft SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesEffective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersAbility to prioritize and manage multiple initiativesDetail-oriented with a focus on solution quality and reliability
