Travel RN - Telemetry - Progressive Care Unit

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Charge RN for a Stepdown/Telemetry unit with day shifts and NIH Stroke Scale certification required.Job Details• Work in a hospital-based Stepdown (PCU/Telemetry) unit,• Charge RN role with responsibilities for oversight and coordination of patient care,• Day shift schedule from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM,• 13-week travel contract,• Patient population consists of stepdown/telemetry level patients,Job Requirements• Active NC or compact RN license required,• Minimum 1 year of recent relevant experience in Stepdown, PCU, or Telemetry,• At least 2 years of clinical experience in specialty preferred,• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or ARC,• Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required,• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months,• References required according to state-specific guidelines,• US Social Security Number and Date of Birth required for consideration,• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility (no local candidates accepted),Additional Information• Serve as Charge RN, overseeing RN and support staff workflows, delegation, and continuity of care,• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and advocate for patient safety,• Must provide copies of certifications and licensure documentation as part of compliance,
