The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the negotiation and execution of agreements used across various financial products, including prime brokerage, derivatives clearing, and related markets. This role is pivotal in managing the full lifecycle of client and transaction documentation, ensuring that all agreements are in line with internal policies and regulatory standards. Key responsibilities include reviewing and updating key documents, identifying and advising on legal, regulatory, and structural issues, and maintaining accurate records to meet governance expectations. The role also involves contributing to the enhancement of documentation processes and providing senior management with insights on negotiation patterns and emerging risk considerations. Applicants for the Vice President position should have significant experience in negotiating capital markets agreements, with a strong understanding of prime services products, collateral and margin frameworks, and relevant regulatory considerations. The ability to manage complex negotiations and balance commercial priorities with risk management needs is essential. Familiarity with securities lending, repo, or FX prime brokerage documentation is advantageous. The role requires strong communication and stakeholder management skills, as well as the ability to exercise strong analytical judgment and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
