Occupational Therapist - Solway, MN

Providing skilled occupational therapy services in both acute and long-term care settings, this contract role is based in Solway, MN. The position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse adult patient population recovering from orthopaedic surgeries, neurological conditions, general medical-surgical issues, and general deconditioning.Key Responsibilities:Evaluate and treat a variety of adult diagnoses in the acute hospital setting.Provide occupational therapy coverage to skilled nursing facilities requiring therapy services.Utilize EPIC and Casamba/NetHealth electronic medical record systems for documentation.Float among hospital units and SNF facilities as needed.Maintain effective communication with the care team and support departments.Adhere to facility policies including badge in/out procedures and dress code.Qualifications and Experience:MN Occupational Therapy License or willingness to obtain.Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association.Experience in acute care preferred; at least 1 year of experience in the past 3 years is preferred but not mandatory.Familiarity with EPIC documentation system highly preferred.Willingness to float to multiple locations.Must indicate if previously employed by the organization, with a minimum six-month gap before reapplication.Schedule:Monday through Friday, day shift.No weekends or on-call duties.Occasional solo coverage at LTC locations with phone support available.Location Overview: Solway, MN, is situated in a region known for its welcoming community and access to outdoor activities.
