This position offers a unique opportunity to influence executive-level project decisions and lead multi-disciplinary engineering teams.Key Responsibilities:Provide high-level oversight of engineering and project execution.Lead technical teams in ensuring compliance with industry standards.Act as the technical authority on engineering standards and regulatory requirements.Guide engineering strategies and solve complex challenges with customer leadership.Ensure BESS plant controller compliance with regulatory requirements across ISO markets.Advise on ancillary services participation strategies and support ICCP implementation.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or related field.15 years of experience in planning, designing, and executing large-scale energy projects.5 years of experience in bulk electric system operations, preferably with an ISO, RTO, or utility control center.Strong understanding of North American electricity markets and ancillary services.Experience with ICCP protocol implementation and configuration.Knowledge of NERC reliability standards and regional compliance requirements.Preferences:Professional Engineering (PE) certification.Experience with BESS or other energy storage technologies in grid applications.Background in power system control center operations or market operations.Experience with SCADA systems and real-time data exchange protocols.Knowledge of grid forming and grid following inverter technologies.Ready to make a significant impact in the energy sector?
