CGP: Medical Collectors

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Medical Collector to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $25.00 to $27.00 per hour. Job Responsibilities:Work with the finance department to collect appropriate reimbursement on assigned payer invoicesReview aging reports and follow up on outstanding claims to maximize collectionsResolve payer inquiries related to current investments, accounting statements, and claim statusProcess daily payments including FHA and VA claims and reconcile appraisal costs at month-endPrepare general ledger reconciliations and assist with audits and annual state filings Requirements:Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills in medical billing and collectionsCommunicate effectively with internal departments, vendors, and payersLearn and navigate multiple software platforms including CPR+ and Office AllyMaintain meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in all documentationCollaborate with team members and show a willingness to help and take on new responsibilities Qualifications:Hold a high school diploma or equivalent with specialized training in medical billing or collections2+ years of medical collection experienceShow familiarity with medical/pharmacy terminology, EOBs, and payer websitesApply knowledge of 1500 Form billing rules and denial/appeal proceduresExhibit strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projectsREF#50904
