JOB OPPORTUNITY #: 27-067 SUPPORT SPEC - RECORDS CLERK JOINT COMMUNICATIONS POSTED: 02/10/26 Responsibilities Performs a variety of recordkeeping and clerical duties such as prioritizing, organizing, releasing, or withholding records and may assist with developing public information, press releases, presenting at outreach events and assisting with applicant processing. Working hours Primarily 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday Location Columbia, Missouri Qualifications High school diploma or GED; 18 years of age or older. At least two (2) years' relevant clerical experience. Ability to type 35 wpm. Valid Missouri driver's license. Ability to obtain Missouri Uniform Law Enforcement System (MULES) certification within six (6) months of hire. Must pass a pre-employment drug screen. Must meet minimum qualifications set forth by the FBI and MSHP CJIS Security policy. Criminal background check including a national fingerprint check through law enforcement agencies and a drug test will be conducted on all successful applicants prior to appointment. Preferred Skills Recruiting, human resources, public relations, and/or social media experience.
