The OfferJoin a well known brand within IT ServicesLeadership RoleWork alongside & learn from best in class talentThe EmployerOur client takes pride in assisting its clients to succeed through ever-changing IT technology and business environment, delivering more time-withstanding solutions for its customers, which are unique, scalable, and flexible with the changing times, trust in long-term client and partner relationships built on investment creative, delivering more value than the competition and dedication to excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesCandidate must play the Tech Lead role and be able to handle a large Python codebase independently.Collaborate with the development team to enhance and extend existing Python codebases.Create new classes that implement existing interfaces, ensuring code quality and adherence to coding standards.Identify and address edge cases and corner scenarios in complex systems, enhancing system reliability and stability.Continuously learn and apply basic Foundry principles to support efficient testing and validation of Python code.Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and actively seeking feedback for self-improvement.Should have exposure to building User-Defined Functions (UDFs) in Python.Provide application support to ensure smooth and efficient functioning of Python applications.Offer operations support to maintain and enhance system performance and reliability.The ProfileQualificationsA minimum of 10+ years of professional experience in Python development & 6+ years of Tech Lead experience.Strong proficiency in Python programming with a focus on enhancing existing code.Experience with build automation tools, particularly pip or poetry.Proficiency in using either PyCharm, VSCode, or Jupyter as integrated development environments.Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen ability to handle edge cases and corner scenarios in complex systems.Willingness to learn and apply basic Foundry concepts for effective testing.Experience with stream processing technologies such as Kafka is a plus.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.EducationA bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Substantial hands-on experience and a proven track record in Python development are equally valued.
